Old company with robust processes and good audit mechanism. Salary structure is good with decent ring fencing techniques. Employee care and medical facilities are good.

Dislikes

Few senior managers associate themselves as leaders but actually they are not. They always apply double standards when it comes to promotions, coaching, mentors and there is always preferential treatment. People who constantly satiate themselves when others sing praises about them but in entirely all levels of people in HR department are doing the same work. Even a L4 manager is doing same work as a executive in a plant. Data collation is what everyone does. What to do with the data nobody is sure about. They are still sticking to excel sheets which in many organizations is considered obsolete. Any persons acumen is judged by amount of formulas he can connect and make complex sheets in excel rather than his people or leadership skills. That is one reason why good pedigree is shying away from staying at ITC. Until and unless the leadership changes their attitude and stops promoting only people from a specific campus ITC will remain a company overwhelmed with itself. If any of senior managers is reading this (please take honest feedback) from any employees by conducting an employee survey (Anonymous) - (Peakon, WTW there are lot of agencies in town). It will give you a true picture. People have reached inflection point and about to crumble to pieces. Save the legacy build by YCD I implore upon you with folded hands if you have a miniscule of humanism left in you.

Work life balance is terrible. You leaving on time, top management takes it in a manner that you dont have enough work. Late nights are a normal especially for senior management. Appraisals are seriously affected by this.
