No Salary Discussion in My Appraisal — What’s Your Experience?
In my appraisal meeting, they didn’t ask or discuss my expectations about my salary or hike percentage. The entire discussion was only about feedback and performance review. After the meeting, I asked why they didn’t allow me to share my expectations or reveal my hike numbers. They told me that the hike numbers would be decided only by the owner and then they would inform me. I feel an appraisal meeting should include open discussion about both performance and future expectations. What are your thoughts? Does this happen in your company too?

1. There is no micro-management in the team, they leave you free the whole day and let you learn the skills you need for work. 2. There are no such deadlines which for me isn't a good thing but I guess a few people would appreciate that. 3. There is flexibility with work timings and the CEO is a lovely lady with correct intents.

Dislikes

1. Salary dispatches are delayed generally, there is no formal/prior communication to it. Managing personal finances with work becomes a challenge since there is no regular outflow. 2. There is no hierarchical learning, and the team structure is poor. You independently learn and contribute. 3. The teams do not function in a structure. 4. The management needs to bring out more time to look at the real issues of the floor and deal with them with proper team handling and structuring solutions. 5. Hybrid or dynamic working cultures are the need of time for now, 6 days working with 9 hours each day gets hectic and compromises productivity. 6. There should be OKR meets or huddles coducted to drive the agenda for a time period.

One of the most horribly managed companies. Employees constantly leave due to non payment of salary for over six months at a time. Dishonest management who try lie and try to entrap you. The product itself is bad and filled with errors. Do not join.

I started my journey at iScholar as an intern and then transitioned to a full time employee, which is a big milestone in my career. During my time at iScholar, i gained valuable knowledge, skills and experienced. Even as an intern i was entrusted with responsibilities across various program, which help me to grow more and this was possible because of the trust from the management, they are always ready to support and encourage to take new initiatives towards works. For a healthy and happy environment they conduct Fun Fridays, birthday and anniversary celebrations and team outings for a refreshing and engaging work culture.Overall, my experience at IScholar is truly rewarding and i'm grateful for the learning, exposure and memories i made during my time with the company.

Literally everything told to do you during hiring is fake. Everything from management to salaries to employee structure, everything is a facade and you would wish to rather be unemployed than work here. Google reviews are forced by current employees. 'Cofounder' - illogical, irrational and micromanager. Not only this but this person is VILE, VICIOUS and EVIL. You know they say that a foolish enemy is more dangerous than a smart one; this person is a living example of it. Your morale will be crushed to the core and you would rather jump off a cliff than work here. Overall this place is - FAKE, TOXIC, NO CULTURE, MISMANAGED PRO MAX, BIGGEST - LIARS!! And if you are thinking of working here for some time till you get a better opportunity, my friend, forget that you are ever going to get paid. You plead, you beg, you write mails, not a single penny is coming your way. Still thinking - just ask at the interview why in a 6000 sq ft workspace there are only 18 people
