IRIS is very employee friendly in my experience so far. While meeting Client requirements, Company is quite adaptive in building employee friendly policies. Salary & Benefits are also quite competitive as per job market. while most of the work force is working from home, there is constant focus on self development & learning. Employees are encouraged to go for trainings & external certification.

Now Iris has rebrand it's logo and now evolving as an MNC and building a strong culture. Here are some points which I liked: 1) Regular HR connect at all level - Helping organization to better understand the employee needs and guide and mentor them in the right direction to achieve their goals. 2) New policies such as work from home, conveyance allowances (recently introduced) , Travel and accommodation reimbursement to encourage employee to start work from office. 3) Rebranding and Marketing of Iris as a brand - It will help to build strong reputation in the IT industry for Iris and also employee will feel proud to be part of such organization and aspire other to join Iris. 4) Implementation of ERP (Success Factor) to full fil all the HR/L&D/Finance/Hiring needs from one centralized portal.

Dislikes

Here are some of the points which should be improved: 1) Not good salary hike as per industry 2) Delay in promotion and employee need to prove his/her capability again and again to Management. 3) Reimbursement structure or flexi beneits are not up to the mark 4) Tax saving options such as NPS is not available till now. I have raised this concern but no resolution yet. 5) Work life balance issue as some project teams need to work on Weekend to meet the delivery timelines on frequent basis.

The initial salary would be fine that you would get.

Dislikes

No job security, you'll always find a sword of being fired hanging around your neck. No stability. Since last two years there has been no appraisal. Work hours are pathetic, people don't care about norms or rules. Finish your work even if you are on hospital bed. There is a history of Iris, they hire and fire very often. So trust would be a major issue if you are joining this organization. They don't have devops team hence you'll need to work on saturday and sundays as well, to deploy the code on weekends.

... management, no growth/ no appraisal, less growth opportunities and development. No salary hike increament since 2 years.

Leadership team is very pathetic. So much internal politics. They layed off 50+ members in a single day without any reason and prior notice. No work life balance and less growth opportunities.

Dislikes

If you get on pip and no other project is there then you can be asked to leave. Dont get fooled by HR they try to xonvince you that there is jon security at the end it boils down to you and your skillset.
