Overall work Culture is fair enough but depends on the Verticle that you are working in. Good learning opportunities You can make good contacts with senior management of Indian Insurance Companies

Dislikes

Salaries very low The Company is currently in a restructuring phase thus Job Security is unpredictable. Almost no Facilities and Employee benefits

Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
