Confused about Salary negotiations
CTC - 8 LPA Loc - Bengaluru, India I have been working in the same company for the last 5 years. My salary went from 3.6 LPA to 8 LPA over the years. I recently put papers, and, started giving interviews. I got an offer from TCS for 15 LPA(12.8 fixed). For more than a month, I've been giving interviews, asking for 18 LPA and many HRs are rejecting straight away, citing it is more than 100% hike from my current CTC. I kept trying and now I am selected for 5 companies - Iris Software, Capgemini, Quantzig Analytics, PwC, HCL, Infinite. Salary discussions are about to start and I'm confused. I'm not good at this. Can anyone suggest?

.... POLITICS RUNS RAMPANT AT EVERY CORNER WITH OUTSIDERS WIELDING UNDUE INFLUENCE. IF YOU ARE SEEKING CONFIRMATION OR SALARY HIKE , FORGET ABOUT IT, ITS SIMPLY NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. WHATS WORSE EVEN RSP OFFICES ( CLIENTS ) SEEM COMPLICIT CHARADE, LIKELY DUE TO SOME MYSTERIOUS BENEFITS THEY RECIVE ($?). MY ADVICE ANYONE CONSIDERING JOING RSP PROJECT: DO NOT DO THAT, YOUR CAREER BE IN RUINS BEFORE IT EVEN BEGAINS. DO NOT EXPECT ANY HELP FROM KOLKATA HR DEPARTMENT. If you are fresher, then you can work here. Otherwise, don't waste your important time.

Dislikes

HR policies & HR not supportive, no increments, salary does not get you as per your experience. As per company calendar you gets Saturday off but they do work from you on Saturday. Not gets extra leave & money of that days.

...ese your salary will detect and if you can't come go for notice period directly. According to him i have to spend 800rs everyday for going to office and he will pay me 500rs only per day we are totally frustrated.
