6+ Years, No Growth – Feeling Stuck & Undervalued

I’ve been working for over 6 years with solid skills and strong performance, yet no real growth or recognition. My company depends on me, but I feel underpaid and overlooked. Despite many job applications and a good resume, rejections continue. No referrals, and the job market feels closed off. Personally, being from a strict family, I’ve sacrificed a lot. As a feminist, finding empathetic, emotionally aware men who value equality is hard. I’m expected to marry within my community, but I long for connection based on mutual values. I was a bright kid, and that spark is still in me. But staying stuck has taken a toll. I don’t want to hurt my mom, but I also want to live a life true to myself. The company is open to innovation and readily adopts latest technology. I love the fact that I am a part of a team that markets reliable, high-quality products and has a global client base. As a result, I get to travel abroad, especially to the US an Canada. But on-site travel is completely dependent on your project and client location. mine is a US base client and they have some offices in and we work happily in collaboration. I also like the employee re-hire policy here.

compensation is decent, but growth is slow. the work pressure is very high. sometimes, I have to work 14-18 hours straight in a day as I have to attend client calls in the evening and sometimes late into the night. managers do not value an individuals unique strengths, which is why I have to take back my suggestions most of the times. i do receive appreciation emails from client but they mostly go unnoticed during my mid-year appraisals. also there is no on-job training for freshers, hence senior folks like me have to guide them step-by-step, which is a pain sometimes

...nd, they lack the corporate culture and do not follow C-LIFE(Infy work policy) . The workload is tremendous high, while salary pay is less. Expect no increment for more than 2 years. Average bonus pay.

I love Infosys than anything else. Work culture and environment is really awesome. Even though I'm working in BPM, I feel like I'm working in IT sector. No other company gives this much satisfaction to work with. Security they are providing for Women is really appreciated. Being a woman employee I never felt insecure or scared to work in night shifts.

Everything is fine except salary in Infosys. I don't know about whole Infosys, but in BPM salary is not that much good. This is the only thing disappoints me.
