Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

...s denied by the institution. For the last 5 months, I am struggling to survive. Salary was satisfactory but this time, I am jobless. I didn't get any increment in my salary for last year also.

Dislikes

They keep one month salary as a security which is almost impossible to get back.

The school was great for me and I learned a lot with my colleagues in it.

Dislikes

The greatest thing that I did not like in this school was that there was not a principal in it and there was no learning environment at all

The team with which I was working there was supportive and hard working. Also the environment of the school was also good. Competitive environment of education with lots of co-curricular activities.

Dislikes

Excessive work load which is not of any mean.
