Given the job opportunity provided at such early age , salary package and overall benefits are quite good. Starting Gross Monthly Salary is 35 -37k , multi dimensional growth opportunities are available for career growth. Job security is very good till the time you are physically fit. And last but not the least is the old pension facility available in defense forces only.

Dislikes

Only thing that I disliked the most is also the one that I liked the most I.e. work and work environment changes frequently, you cannot simply plan everything. Things and places changes quite offtenly like you might be doing a office work today in an AC office, but might suddenly be asked to perform a field job carrying arms and ammunitions. There always something new on the next page.

Likes

Officer Level entry is Good. Pay and Allowances are the only motivation here. It purely depends on what trade your are working. SSC Officers are the best leaders who some how allow the Sailors growth. Other Than self ,Families fell safer, have a Better community for living when get quarters. military atmosphere is boon and bone childrens.

Dislikes

I don't suggest joining as Sailors. Still British era rules and treatment.

Good work environment and culture.Teamates are supportive and the management is transperant.company policies are gud. canteen also very usefull for employees.

Dislikes

There is a lot of references and the management doesn't adress our issues.salary is low and career growth is also slow. On the job training is not given to the new joiners. Entering process of the company is worst.That work is not helpfull for me.

...agement is transparent.There is a huge cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling.Company policies are good,appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year.

Dislikes

There is a lot of politics and the management doesn't address our issues.salary is decent but carrer growth is slow there is a bond of 2 years before which you cannot resign.On the job training is not given to new joiners.
