The exposure that people get by working in an institution is amazing. Many renowned scientists and philosophers visit the campus which is a great opportunity for the working people to learn.

The salary package is not up to the standards. The work culture is not good. The higher rank colleague harasses the newcomers. He doesn't know how to talk, always has mood swings, and also shouts at the newcomer.

    * Castism * Hardly any increase in salary yearly/bonus. * Too much power given to the manager. Can't approach higher authority bypassing the manager to complain over the unfair treatment towards his teammates. *No feedback taken over manager's efficiency * No efficient HR body. * No freedom to work on different tools of interest within the facility. * No programs/interdepartment workshops for technical growth of the FTs.

No growth especially for the contractual staff. No security of the job No increment in the salary Talented people will not get a proper reward The scope is very much limited fit the staff since the decision will be taken at the higher level. No benefits to the contractual staff such as paternity leave, bonus, yearly increment, no paid leave, no ESIC.

State of the art facility with excellent research opportunities and Professors

    Dislikes

No work life balance. Very less salary. Basically you won't have any life if you're stuck under a wrong Prof. A few Profs are good but do your own research about them and talk to their current students.
