1. The irrasponsible behavior of the technical staff mainly the staff who are handling the instruments. 2. They are usualy or intensnaly not performed the analysis of the materials which we synthesized very carefully. In nutshell i can say that technical staff is not doing his job responsibly due to that our work not complete on time, that ultimatly affect the career.

Independency towards work. This place is good, but only if you join a lab with high-class facilities else you would be struggling to purchase instruments.

Dislikes

Admin staff sucks your life and always delays your work. We always need to remind them to complete our work. Least priority to the research fellows.

Job security depends on the duration of the project, very good work culture and management behavior is good, you have to learn a lot from the Institution laboratory.

Dislikes

Nothing is wrong at the Institution for learner and researchers except the duration of the projects are time bound.

Likes

It is good to work in project just after college, it will give you a lot of learning, experience as well as monetary benefit as compare to private sectors in Chemical engineering/Chemistry field.

CSIR-IIP is a government institute, which carries out research and development for many sectors, like petroleum refining, bio-fuels, vehicular emmsions, etc. One gets alot of exposure to different technologies used in analytical sciences, automotive emissions testing, combustion sciences, to name a few.

Dislikes

There's nothing to dislike about, it's a govt. organisation.
