...ecision are perfect and clear. The policies regarding annual appisals is fair . Salary is good and there are many other privileges like free ration, transportation, accomodation, LTC and Children Education allowance, annual bonus etc.

...come real men who can deal with any situation with utmost calm and perseverance. pay and perks are good and the quality of life is even more good. However, due to recent changes in the policies, the career prospects have reduced. I hope IAF will revert these policies in the best interest of it's troops.

Its rich tradition makes you a truly nationalist. One can find it a wonderful place to work, play, enjoy family and social relationship and above all the exceptional team work in all aspect. It also provides you ample opportunities for innovation.

Restricted and discouraging promotion policies is the only grey area where the Govt of India/policy makers/top management must pay attention. Because due to this neglected and restrictive approach, we are not able to retain our best trained manpower. A guy of 18 years from a very humble background joins Air Force with an ambition to reach to the peak of the organisation. But most of them who joins as an airmen reaches upto Sergeant and those who joins as an officer upto Group Captain in their prime 20 years. As a result, we can find dissatisfaction among other ranks and mass exodus.
