New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

Nothing I can think of.

Work here and you will be wasting your precious time. No career growth as work is very stagnant. This company is not employee friendly also. The HRs or team leads at this company do not support well being of employees. They fire you if you don't succeed at pleasing them here. And you will have to do it every now and then. Moreover, they don't give any flexibility for working from home in dire circumstances when an employee is seriously unwell. They do not give any leaves also. Working at this company is a no-no. Had a very bad experience working at India TV. Was not even granted leave or the option of working from home when I was seriously unwell. Instead they asked me to resign.

First of all this company is not represent any political party. People do their best in free atmosphere,so company provide full freedom to speak.Just take a look and check once,you can understand the company culture and the performance of a valuable performance of real news company. Here is too much to say but work speak them selves. Great and sensational news portal.

Worked at INDIA TV as a OnlineEditor since Oct,2007 was very excellent. I have a good working experiences of 14 long years. These years when comes & out from my life I really don't know. I saw a very fast life there is many types of shifting job morning, evening, night, general shift, 200% rotate shifts. I enjoy my work & work station very much. Nothing good, This place is like bording school, once your entered you will locked your self for 9 Hrs

Rarely in any other place will there be so much discrimination as it is here, especially in the canteen here, it is a mentally disturbing place.
