India Today company is good. No complain. But the department Fact Check, where I'a working now is too bad.

Dislikes

My Fact Check department is like hell. The manager is a very bad and cunning person, Working in a traumatized situation. Discouragement, demotivation, bad mouthing all are happening with us. I'll not prefer to refer anyone for this department.

I started as an intern and now serving as Manager in 8 years. India Today holds high standards for company policies which are equivalent for each and every employee.

I like that India Today really cares about their employees. They follow an employment first policy and that's really great. Sanitisation work has been great with desks being wipes every two hours. I feel safe working in my office through these tough times. The boss keeps everyone motivated through regular emails. Even in these trying times, they have announced Diwali surprise and appraisals. That's the silver lining which has put a smile on everyone's faces.

Work progress is slow, especially in Kolkata station. A lot could be done but the pace is slow. Everyone is laidback. That's sometimes demotivating. I took a paycut so sometimes I get upset about slow pace of work. Career growth is slow. That's the only drawback. The management is a little too good for employees who look for a leeway to exploit resources.
