Nothing to like here. During hiring I was given a lot of hope and "gyan" about growth, but it was all a lie. I was told that they give good hike, but I have seen bad ones like 4% or 5% ( in sep 2022 ) to the whole company after which the company still believed that they were doing well and kept spending overseas instead of realizing and chancing strategies. Only now ( June 2023 ) they realized the money crunch and resorted to the worst - firing 60 to 70 of us and denying joining of around 20 freshers. Firing could have been the last option had they been less egoistic and taken conservatives measures in those 9 months, also not so tough because the world could see that US and UK are not doing well but our co founders couldn't swallow their pride!

I know for a fact that my junior was hired at a salary higher than mine. Salaries are always a problem for all except for the favorites of the cofounders - For sure the ones who butter up to co founders have benefitted in multiple ways - our BD head, our HR head, some of our techies, and the bias is clearly visible, because the juniors of these people seem to be exploited for the growth of a few favorites. The planning is all messy and spontaneous. Many strategies are driven by gut feel and ego rather than data which has led us to this situation and today the company of 400 is down to 270. If you had the right business sense, you'd not have overspent to cost so many of us our livelihood. What happen to your statement - " we are operationally profitable and can go profitable by just conserving sales costs" ; why did you reach a stage where we had to lose our jobs for you to survive - don't mess or lie to your remaining employees at least. The micromanaging has now become toxic and demotivating. In situations where we can present the ground reality we are made to shut up by both managers and co founders and the co founders make their stubborn decisions, ultimately why do they need us if they are such know it all's! I have been dealing with bias as I was always given the scut work no matter how much I tried to prove myself while an equal of mine was favored with all the popular and interesting work - I know that I was deserving because others noticed this bias in my team too. I was even bluntly denied certain things even if I said I would work overtime to accommodate so that I could learn. Politics and favoritism by my manager cost me the chance to learn and so I barely had any interest left in working. In all this, there is no one you can truly approach for help because the maturity to deal with things anonymously and non- judgmentally is not there. In fact, the HR ( Lopamudra and Ravisankar and Amerendra ) are not cut out to handle our grievance because they have gossiped and joked about other peoples issues to me and others, and so there is no guarantee that if I asked them to help our team then they will gossip and make a joke out of me too. This is also one of the reasons that you will not be able to detect the real root cause of your deteriorating culture apart from the dominating attitude of the co founders. In conclusion, if you are not a favorite, you will not get the growth, a deserving salary, no privacy during your days off, no work life balance. This is the case with 90% of us because of biases of co founders and for me it is biases within the team too. Oddly enough I am happy for all of the ones laid off so that we can move onto better places that are less toxic.

1. I get Alternate WFH weeks. 2. I get two meals + snacks, which are part of my CTC. 3. I also get free courses which is again part of my CTC. 4. (point 2 and 3) add upto a good amount, but they are non-monetary and there is no way to opt out of these. Hardly any more likes to write. (event point 4 is a dislike)

...ts developers to work like those at Google but pays like a typical SaaS company. The compensation does not match the workload or expectations. 7. Poor Treatment of Hardworking Employees: Many hardworking employees, who could have been assets to the company, were laid off due to the CXO's questionable decisions. Others left on their own after receiving a negligible increment of 0.89%, which was the first appraisal in 1.5 years. 8. Lack of Diversity in Hiring: Some teams lack diversity, which hampers creativity and innovation. 9. Poor Retention of Good Employees: The company does not retain good employees. There's a high turnover rate due to dissatisfaction with the working conditions and lack of recognition. Overall Summary: Join Increff only if you are desperately looking for a job. If you do join, start looking for another job immediately. The environment is toxic, the management is incompetent, and there is no respect for hard work or dedication.?*

- Hybrid policy & office timings is from 8.30 to 5.30 (I personally like it so we could avoid traffic) - Breakfast, lunch & snacks - Majority of the senior folks are so great as individuals. - Freshers will be able to learn things fast & gain good knowledge (may depends on the team as well)

...other stuff. Even the recurring meetings & MRMs usage should be revisited once - Fixed & Variable pay concept: They introduced concept of variable pay depending on company's performance. And there's no variable pay from last 3 quarters. Instead of this, variable should be on individual performance atleast, so it motivates hardworking folks. Or just remove variable concept for tech guys. - Decreased interview standards - Not a latest tech: We are still working on old versions of tech just because developers couldn't get atleast a sprint to upgrade stuff. This leads to us feel like we are - Getting more client oriented

It was a nice place when I joined sadly in a few months I started realizing that it was not a place to stay long term.

Dislikes

...ive and temperamental and biased and self absorbed co-founders Partial Managers Extremally low salaries and low hikes along with no job security for the past year - lot of lay offs when they are done with the person The Policies and Culture is a sham - once you spend time you can see it. Mental wellness program added but behaviors are only having more and more negative effect especially from department heads and co founders. So, good decision to shut it down, because no one is going to change. They have no money, no profits and no business sense to get past this time without harming their employees - so they lay off so many for their own money squandering blunders and they will move on to burn out the rest for their own selfish gains.
