First of all its all Reliance. There is nothing IMG in it (since I joined). Its a JV with leadership team interaction with IMG. So I can only speak for the company I worked with. It is an entrepreneurial mindset Division which will not spoon-feed anything. You are expected to bring in a skill set, especially at my level (as in any organization). There are entry level career opportunities - from a pure learning perspective. An old school thought: Gaining wisdom more important than Money! That's how it was till my tenure. The best results comes out between the Leadership team and Entry level kids as they bring the combination of fresh ideas, energy and experience. For the mid level it is always managing them both & may be tough (Subjective to each). You may come out with great ideas but the proprietor' word is final and that's how most of the big daddy works. You need to be FLEXIBLE to adapt. I would say this taught me a lot more than any past organization, from "yes sir - to on my own!"

Dislikes

Appraisals. Its not good at least in the sports dept. Other are doing well. It can well be connected to external factors such as industry growth and company performance! Reliance will not throw you, but you may find yourself at one corner! Its the team / leader / line manager under whom you work may decide your fate. It seeps in frustration even after performing and finding yourself left - out just as the leadership was weak! You need to build that factor in yourself to take on set backs, caused by others - as your own and this requires courage and patience!
