...sort Kolkata NH6. Because employee sees the Brand not the owner of the property. Management of IHG is excellent , career growth opportunities are fantastic pay scale needs to be improved a little as compared to other cities.

Dislikes

Well HOD's to be briefed very about the IHG way of working and the winning ways. I'll be very honest that my last assignment with my HOD was not very much good because in one hand I was groomed to be a future leader but on the other hand my HOD was acting like a boss as if the entire operation of the department is the the employees responsibility and the HOD doesn't owes and explanation to any one.

Good work life balance. Not much work pressure, bonus paid consistently and decent annual increment.

Dislikes

In India office, promotions are not based on merit. They are already fixed and beyond manager level there are hardly any females. The senior leadership is biased towards females, given an option they promote male managers. This is unfair for females and they are left with no option but to either accept them as second choices or look for options outside IHG.

Working culture is too good and even sometimes conversations with your senior management's staff you won't feel any level gap.

No dislike everything is good but they should work on their compensation level and atleast pay according to the market demand aur depends on IHG brand value.
