The Research Institute am currently working is very innovative with respect to field of fishery. I am proud to be a part of the Fish Genetics and Biotechnology Division as well as fish genomics lab. I started my career from being a research scholar and now i am working as a women scientist, so i can see my career growth in terms of knowledge as well as publications. The best part of Fish Genomics lab is the work environment where learning is the motto, colleagues are from diverse background though we work happily here. Also, i worked in various collaborative projects and there also the team members are very helpful.

...e is being a central govt institution, they cannot give us a permanent position. Also, the pay is very less as compared to the work I am doing.

Likes

Fish farming and controlling disease its challenge but if taught properly and effectively implemented an annual 6% compounded revenue can be contribute to our state economy due to the availability and needed water quality.

Dislikes

Govt has done a great work in creating such institution but the presiding members has deteriorated in every aspects including human ethics.
