The company is best known for its work-life balance that means one can easily get to do work from home option in case of need but that depends upon manager's approval as well. Company provides a good number of skill gap training when an employee goes through assessment on the skills set also there are various training offered to its employees for the skill enhancement. Employee gets access to a wide variety of online training courses and education sessions are often conducted internally, which very good sign of knowledge sharing.

...ion since HR plays no role here which actually hinders employee's career growth. The best way to get a decent salary is to work for some period of time, resign, work elsewhere and rejoin which would bump up the compensation to double or more than that, whereas working in the company for a prolonged period of time would just make the employee feel that they have wasted their time there. So one has to be intelligent enough to make a move when the time demands.

On the whole this is a big and one of the oldest company with reputation. Rather India IBM is not at all good in employee satisfication

Dislikes

After receiving H1B they never approved my travel and you are forced to stay there for less salary. Don't take joining bonus, get maximum take home salary before joining. In percentage you will receive like 8-10 percent hike but in 3 years you will be less paid and have less knowledge as you work for some client.
