Confused about Salary negotiations
CTC - 8 LPA Loc - Bengaluru, India I have been working in the same company for the last 5 years. My salary went from 3.6 LPA to 8 LPA over the years. I recently put papers, and, started giving interviews. I got an offer from TCS for 15 LPA(12.8 fixed). For more than a month, I've been giving interviews, asking for 18 LPA and many HRs are rejecting straight away, citing it is more than 100% hike from my current CTC. I kept trying and now I am selected for 5 companies - Iris Software, Capgemini, Quantzig Analytics, PwC, HCL, Infinite. Salary discussions are about to start and I'm confused. I'm not good at this. Can anyone suggest?

Likes

Work Life Balance is Good & has improved a lot in last 2 years. Product portfolio is good & opportunities are good. You get opportunities to work with global teams. Company is growing & has bigger plans.

Dislikes

Not a good place for high performers. Everyone's treated equally. Promotions & salary benefits are unfair. Company culture is not on par with a MNC company. Like many other companies, managers decide the quality of your professional life & they can bend any policies matching their needs. Good managers can be handpicked and many are not up to the mark. Howden India isn't a great place but Howden on the whole is a good company to work with.
