...eady. At Houzeo, people with personal issues in life will struggle to keep up. The company expects you to work to the bone and do extra work with no additional pay. When struggling employees perform badly, instead of helping them, the manager taunts and demoralizes them by making them feel small. Such employees end up leaving to protect themselves. A team built on hypocrisy with a moody manager and weak professional foundations will not create a team that achieves long-term results but short-term results for temporary happiness and a few cakes.

Houzeo lacks firm policies, creating confusion around roles and responsibilities. Overtime is often expected but goes unpaid, which adds to the workload without fair compensation. You’ll understand the real dynamics only after joining, as the initial impression can be misleading. It’s challenging to maintain a work-life balance here.

...ng system for writers/editors - which is just EMBARRASSING. Yeah not motivating. Also, the pay gap is wild. Some people literally just replicate content and still get paid more than those actually putting in work. And don't even get me started on the office politics- certain employees, especially women don't get treated fairly I mean the pretty oness. The turnover rate is insane. At any given time atleast 4-5 people are serving their notice period. They're always hiring which kinda tells you everything you need to know. If youre looking for stability, growth, or even just a decent work environment, this ain't the place.

Hire and fire culture The manager doesn't know how to speak with their colleagues. Insults and bad-mouthing are the day-to-day norm here Incompetent employees who don't do any work but are favourites, get a grand farewell If the manager doesn't like you, they will turn a small point into an issue and make sure you are put on PIP or fired HR doesn't address any issue and makes it even more difficult for the employees to address basic query The equipment given is either broken or not working properly

...e who leads everything from CEO to Admin-work) They don't value their employees. The salary is much less than compared to the market. Other benefits are like, dinner or pizza once a year with a glass of cold drink to you for drowned and die with the burned self-respect.
