New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward
I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

...thing. There is a lot of politics and the management doesn't address our issues. Salary is decent but career growth is slow. There is a bond of year before which you cannot resign.

...gement is transparent. There is a huge cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling. Company policies are good, appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year.

Salary structure is not so decent as per market. growth is very slow & work pressure is high. mangers call on odd hrs of work like at 6:00 am or even after 11:00 pm. manger do not value an individuals' unique strengths. we do receive the appreciation from client but they find out some fault in it. even after they have a quaterly review system but i don't think it is any use.

Here one can learn many works in system from the seniors.

The salary structure is very bad, there is no Overtime payment for deo & Supervisor level man power. There is no yearly increment in salary. & Though this company doesn't payment overtime , one have to work in overtime.
