Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Company Grippled by Favoritism. Hr team is useless. No clarity of future. No projects. Management is not good. They don't need good knowledgeable people. Avoid joining if unemployed then only join. Complete waste of time.

Nothing. Just a Chinese Company. There is a saying about Chinese Thing "It works either till the moon or till the evening".

Dislikes

Everything. This organisation is full of politics, insecure and immature bosses and backstabbing colleagues. They hire you with better salaries but they will keep you engulfed with politics and toxic culture. They won't let you work with peace. Though you take 100% initiatives and give 200% results, they will treat you like a Crap. And Chinese management know little to no about what's happening in India Offices. Chinkis are just interested in taking 8 am morning reviews and that's it, their work is done.
