However, during my tenure, I encountered several challenges. Even for annual employee outings, we were not permitted to attend, with the reasoning that we were hired to work and not for leisure. The workload was often overwhelming, and there was minimal support, which led to physical strain and impacted my health. I developed significant issues with my cervical and lumbar regions due to the high demands and long working hours. Unfortunately, after falling ill, my contract was terminated on the grounds of my inability to continue working, with no compensation provided as per the terms of the retainership agreement.While I gained valuable industry insights and had the opportunity to work with a leading brand, I believe the company could benefit from improving its approach to employee well-being and work-life balance.
