1. Option for working remotely 2. Salary could be above industry standards if negotiated well during recruitment 3. Social security and insurance benefits 4. Various reimbursements available over and above CTC 5. Five-day work week with roster-based flexible shifts

Dislikes

1. Very less scope to grow 2. Inequitable work pressure 3. Senior leadership is barely available for conflict resolution or during team crisis. Not transparent with teams. 4. Editorial managers are highly incompetent, lacks news judgement and are incapable of making content value addition calls 5. Severe attrition rate -- at least 15 people, including senior editorial recruits, have left the news team in a span of 10 months that I have worked at HT. In comparison, only 3-4 juniors or freshers were hired. This is case with other teams too -- lifestyle, sports, tech, business and multimedia 6. Lack of skill-enhancing trainings and editorial meetings 7. Despite generous leave policy by the company, managers are reluctant to grant them

Management is very shallow. No work life balance for regional teams. Pay package disparity at same levels

The office location and certain colleagues. It's OK to join if it's your first job. Editorial team This review only represents the company from tech product department. This company has no user objective and hence it's focused only on business which is TRUE for all media publishing houses.

Office politics and culture No clear vision. All top driven management. Intrusive top management with basic understanding of business and no ability to provide insights Other CxO are mere pets and lack a spine. PM's are caught in build trap. They are actually backlog managers and no PM process or frameworks followed Lack of resources and bandwidth made available to PM's All sprints go out of scope. If a PM says no it's looked down upon. You need to be a yes man. HR is non existent and has no say in employee welfare. It will occasionally do the typical celebration of festivals to show how inclusivity. Forget weekends if you join in product. Toxicity is deep rooted in the company. The top management doesn't care about employees.

Nothing good about shine.com before joining they tell you something and later they make you do something else.

Dislikes

1)what was promised that was not there. 2) No proper working environment. 3) All the office chairs are not in good condition. few chairs are dirty. First, when you come to the office you must look for a good chair so no one else should take it. 4)Managers are not at all supportive. Not a good place to work.
