I am giving feedback mostly from RCB standpoint (R&D Center Bengaluru, Pritech Park office). The culture is completely changed from what it used to be some time back. I am more than 15 years working with HP but the culture is not good now as it used to be. Only thing I like , if you are in other entity like Workforce & Strategy, DXT, CCC and working with a global team (Reporting manager is from other country) then possibly, you might have good work life balance. But for RCB a big NO NO. Try to find out if you are getting hired to RCB as I have seen worst there.

HP has multiple entities/departments e.g. R&D center for Print (RCB), Contact Center, D&TO. I worked more than 15 years in R&D center Bengaluru (RCB). Until 13-14 years the experience was superb but last 2 years, the culture is completely changed. I'm specifically sharing about the department called RCB. Dirty Politics, Poor Leadership, Poor Management, No support from leadership, They support only like minded and obsequious people and take actions at their whim. Also they try to identify and target employees who has given bad feedback in company's internal survey (VIA), and put them into PIP and eventually into Layoff list. No other manager will take you into his/her team if your current manager is not happy with you, even if you have good work ethics, strong competencies and a rewarding past. This is very unfortunate that they behave like pack of wolves to just isolate you from the rest. If you simply say 'yes' to dumb managers/leaders then your job is safe, though promotions would be only given to their loved and dear ones only. However, this is not the story of other departments (other than RCB), as there are still core HP values and professionalism is inherent.

The working culture is not good , filled with dirty politics and environment Including the only manager I've been under - Swapna Nandan who hold personal vengeance and unreasonable warning letters given to people she does not like. Not a motivated/ supportive place to work on my personal experience.

It offers a great work environment and all the employees are so humble and helpful. There's no discrimination between seniors and juniors. All are treated equally and well. Feels comfortable like home.
