Appraisal is good (not fair though). Teammates are helpful. Tech stack is decent. Get to work on large user data so a good learning.

Dislikes

No benefits apart from insurance. Have to do WFO only unless it's an emergency. Come with urgent requirements, made to work on weekends and motivate this culture by rewarding people who do it. Some teams do not have much work but their team members can be paid far more than what you do just because their manager is better at politics.

Contractors are not being converted to permanent employees since three years after lot of hardwork also. No benifits like health insurance, etc are provided to contractors. WFH is strictly prohibited only to the contractors. Even bereavement are also not granted.

There is a hierarchical culture but management is approachable, adoption of industry standards and looking out for good talent.

As in general you may face linguistic barriers, tech revolves around regulations.

Dislikes

Lack of proper structured task allocation, and there is no fixed pipeline or journey of approaching an issue and resolving it. Even after 16 years of foundation, it is still in the start-up phase.
