SWITCHING FROM RETAIL BRANCH BANKING TO KYC AML.

I'm working in a reputed private sector bank for 2.4 years. Previously I had worked on a different private bank for 5years in retail branch banking. In this 7.4 years I have gathered both operational and sales experience. My current cycle is about 6.75 LPA. Now I want to change from retail to KYC AML. I found it to be more authentic and where I can use my knowledge. All I have learned and gathered knowledge about banking, kyc, aml, customer handling, operations. But now all it comes down to is sales ,sales and sales. I don't know what I am doing.I don't want to do it any more. Frustrated about the daily sales . KYC AML is something I'm trying to get into.I'm taking preparations on it also. Studying Kyc process ,CIP, CDD,EDD, Transaction monitoring, screening, sanctions,OFAC, FATF, BASELnorms etc. But I don't know how to go about it in the job market. What type of questions will be asked? Will they even look into my CV? Interview rounds? Expected salary Any one out there plz help.

What I don't like is that the salary of the old employees Who have been working in this bank for 2-3 years has not been increased by the bank as per the new salary structure. That is, if any new employee joins the bank, he is being paid according to the new salary structure. So I think it is somewhat unfair to the old employees. The new employee does the same work as the old employee. Why the difference in salary?

1) Pay scale according to job roal is too low / not satisfactory. 2) still not recievd career progression mail. 3) TA's performance counted on team work not on TA's work. 4) No value in other banks. 5) work is not cauntable. 6) TA Recieved PIP while branch disbursed low files its not on TA's performance.

Dislikes

Even after making profits every quarter, hdfc do not raise salary. Increment % is very bad. With raising inflation they should also think about raising salaries. The way supervisors / manager treat us , the overtime, the work load is very worst. They do not even provide support.
