Dislikes

BPO business and management don't understand ITSM/ITIL. So even if you have ITSM/ITIL skill set or specialized (Huge demand in the market for such skills) they world treat you same as a BPO skill set employee and in the appraisals you will get the same percentage of hike. There will not value for you ITSM/ITIL skills and there will be no growth as well in terms of knowledge and designation. It's better you go into HCL technologies and not opt of HCL technologies BPO services of you are specialized in ITSM/ITIL process.

Salary is on time but other incentives, your promotion, your bonus, your increments etc are in Arrears, You will get it for sure but always in arrears, HR is not at all effective. Just like your Job which is stable, your salary will be stable as well, please do not expect any other thing except Stability. Company culture in terms of HR is not at all good, no major governance towards how management is calibrating an employee, how promotions are happening? That is the only reason I left HCLTech, otherwise, in other domains, might be the HR as people doing good things. HCLTech is a beautiful organization but some wrong people who are in that position to spoil the overall experience and culture, My advice is to hire good mature people in leadership positions and especially in HR domain. Please save this beautiful company and I'm the sure the top management are doing lots of things to streamlines the process down there but really need to put strong governance on middle management, specially in HR domain

Salary on time. Good peers

Dislikes

More than 6 months delay in appraisal cycles. No appraisal if you are L3 band and above 20LPA. My last two appraisals were zero. Management politics. Management too much egoistic.
