I was working as an intern for HCL TechBee program under Pune-Nagpur region. While it was a WFH internship overall experience was great. The job requires you to connect to primarily students & schools administration via calls and email. It might sound mundane but there are lot of learnings and surely grooms you well.

Dislikes

The compensation could have been more, 3k felt slightly less

Salary will be paid on time and you can go to bench and look for other opportunities

Dislikes

3rd class behaviour of higher management.. it's extreme micro management and No respect for any employees! You'll have to convince HCL higher management fools along with convincing the Clients HCL Management never respect their workforce at all.. they remove on-site and ask you to do Night shifts

Horrible work culture Poor hikes Cunning reasons for salary deductions. Not allowing leaves. Untrustworthy HR. Irresponsible Managers, HRs and leadership. Unrealistic expectations. Substandard Cafeteria food. Name-sake facilities like Gym, Yoga, etc. Lesser growth prospects Less dynamism in Roles Bad Cab policy

The plus with HCL is like if you are lucky and get a good client/project you can have a good work life balance.

Dislikes

Their are multiple cons in the company - 1. They will deduct money from your salary unnecessarily in the name of variable which they say is rating based. I personally never got less than 9/10 in quarterly ratings but still they used to deduct around 60% from EPB. 2. Zero hikes / No promotions. In my almost 2 year career no hikes happened. 3. It is top heavy company. There are 2-3 key people in every project who decides the fate of others. Full of egoistic people in management.

1. Working Style 2. No support or collaboration with different team 3. Zero support from boss 4. Poor Appraisal 5. Once you are on bench(no project), they will treat badly 6. Zero HR support. Even HR don't know about company policy.
