On time salary. High Job security. Good work life balance - kal bhi hoga to chalega ultimately! Very good in their Enginnering Research Services division wrt the kind of work they do. Leadership is empathetic to employees situations and tries to optimize work life balance Provides on site opportunities across Europe, North America, Oceania and so on.

Dislikes

Delayed Bonus, appraisal No spine throughout hierarchy of leaders till VPs. Very skewed salary structure from top to bottom (it has the highest paying IT CEO) Very low appraisal percentages, low yearly salary hikes. No retention policy for proven Tech or non Tech talents. Should be more focussed on revenue increase measures rather than cost cutting measures.

3rd class behaviour of higher management.. it's extreme micro management and No respect for any employees! You'll have to convince HCL higher management fools along with convincing the Clients HCL Management never respect their workforce at all.. they remove on-site and ask you to do Night shifts

Horrible work culture Poor hikes Cunning reasons for salary deductions. Not allowing leaves. Untrustworthy HR. Irresponsible Managers, HRs and leadership. Unrealistic expectations. Substandard Cafeteria food. Name-sake facilities like Gym, Yoga, etc. Lesser growth prospects Less dynamism in Roles Bad Cab policy

The plus with HCL is like if you are lucky and get a good client/project you can have a good work life balance.

Dislikes

Their are multiple cons in the company - 1. They will deduct money from your salary unnecessarily in the name of variable which they say is rating based. I personally never got less than 9/10 in quarterly ratings but still they used to deduct around 60% from EPB. 2. Zero hikes / No promotions. In my almost 2 year career no hikes happened. 3. It is top heavy company. There are 2-3 key people in every project who decides the fate of others. Full of egoistic people in management.
