The company need to depoliticize the work environment in order to keep their best hands. E.g . When I left the system I was amongst the best 3 business development manager with good track records yet was eased out through managed selection. Whereas, we had people that were not doing well yet they were asked to stay.

Guinness Nigeria Provides you with a working environment where your ideas are valued and you are supported to bring your idea to life. The Pay may not be superb but other welfare package such as Medicals, Club membership e.t.c makes the company a Good place to work.

Distance Covered and travel exposes employee to extreme conditions.

A Company wholely owned by Diageo- the Worlds largest Spirits Manufacturer and the owner of Guinness the Worlds largest Malt Beer manufacturer- the experience was overwhelming! A Systems driven Organisation which required a whole hearted approach to accomplishing your job targets and drivers that only you can bring forth to achieving first your own satisfaction and then everything else. Working here was an experience of a lifetime!!!

Dislikes

I believe the sole downside here is being able to see through the many layers of inroads failing which one would definitely blame the Systems and People. In my case I believe that my roads to achieving higher goals was of the fact that I had too many obstacles to walk over on - culture of the .Organisation being the biggest block for me!
