Salary Expectations
I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

It is a good company with an overall good culture.

Dislikes

Time pass atmosphere, the reason I say this is because there is none from teaching or Educational background and that is why most are not passionate towards working in Educational Sector and making a difference. These kind of people do 70% gossip and fun and 30 % work. People who have zero experience of teaching and absolutely no academic experience are at the position of TLs and Managers. They are following similar footsteps as other Ed tech companies into developing Ed tech product and that why there is very little focus on actual Content and more on other aspects.
