You'll confront the camera that you're happy in the company and it'll be shared on socials to gimmick. But in reality, this'll be the worst ever employment. Poor support from the management, frequent hirings, terminations, and resignations. Change of departments and team change. Everything will ruin you and your career.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
