Grant Thornton has lean season from Jan-April which can be used to pursue your hobbies, career and skill development. It has good learning environment for freshers. Seniors are helpful in sharing their knowledge and they conduct several trainings during lean season.

...ance. Employees are expected to stretch their normal work hours till midnight. Less compensation, less hike, no motivation to work. Biased and unfair appraisal system and promotion practices. They encourage wrong practices in the name of "visibility". They have brought so many management changes to micro-manage. No learning opportunity after a certain time. Stagnant/very slow growth.

It gives a platform to work in an international environment. The Senior Management is understanding and cooperative and understand the work pressure. They give clients realistic timelines and do not overload employees with targets

Dislikes

There is no opportunity for lateral shift. You will only keep doing one type of thing.

Nothing as such, it is just a mediocre company. Please do not count it in top 10 firms.

Everything, Do not join this company utill you do not want to stop you career Growth, appraisal and promotions etc.

You are not the part of crowd like Big 4. You have close relation and meetings with the upper level. You do a lot of things from basic and ground work rather doing a manual work like big4.

Should pace up with other companies joining the race. Should motivate employees with benefits.
