I think Grant Thornton is a wonderful company to work. I joined as a fresher but never felt odd. We were very much valued and welcomed. Got to learn so much from all my seniors and team members. Very cooperative team members and seniors. Work life balanced is very much well maintained. You'll always enjoy your work here because of the culture.

I think the compensation should have been a bit more for the amount of hardwork we do.

Company is great , salary benefits and leaves is good.

I had a terrible experience regarding office politics from day one. Manager was unsupportive and manipulative . Only think about getting their targets done no supportiveness from HR on understanding the employees view .

Salary, increment, recognition, have been the sad part here. Corporate politics at its best. Felt demotivated at all the times and anxious most of the times. No year end benefits. At client site round the year with no commuting benefits.

Dislikes

They pay way below industry standards. There are no decent projects. The Firm is run by people who have been there for a decade or so. Most of the hires are because they are referred by some "big fish" in the small pond and not because of pedigree or competency. Not a good place for people with decent pedigree. You will have nothing to learn from - not your peers, not the projects, not the leadership!
