The culture is very bad. CEO is a micro manager and wants to have control over all the functions. I don’t see goodera ever scale owing to its myopic leadership. It is in a very good space but poor management is pulling it down from achieving something great

If your manager is nice, you have scope to learn (that in itself is a big if though)

Dislikes

Far too many, but the concept of work life balance is a myth for the higher ups in this company. It is considered pretty much normal to dedicate 24 hours, 7 days a week to work here. Be warned if you don’t! You will get a very disappointing appraisal if you even think to have a life outside of your job

Not much. They offer flexible work but even that's being changed from what I hear.

Dislikes

Poor work culture, toxic environment, terrible appraisals and raises, zero growth, no importance to creative people whatsoever, favouritism and that's just the tip of the iceberg.

Fast-paced start-up culture. Lots of young energy

Dislikes

There's a lack of any structure and values in terms of culture at Goodera. The leadership is extremely volatile, and are often at discord amongst each other, which makes the whole organizational structure volatile and fragile as well. For a company that sells Diversity and Inclusion, the leadership diversity is extremely skewed. It's mostly a tech company that sells on the garb of "doing good", but not much good really happens in the world, or inside the company either.

1. Higher management promotes toxic culture and partiality. 2. Zero work life balance. On the name of startup, higher management forces employees to work 24*7. 3. No empathy from higher management. Employees coming out of ICU and immediately joining the office get to hear from the management that "things are not bad if you are still alive". 4. Line managers misbehave with junior employees. Unprofessional and unwelcoming gestures are common and normalized.
