It's a non a good company for educated personas because they want uneducated personas for their work that's why I don't suggest to a well educate person

Joined in Gogrej Foods by an year Hershey Joint venture happened. Godrej withdrawn from the JV by an year. Seen lot of change from a Family owned company to a corporate and a multinational company. No doubts monetary benefits and upgrading your professional skills were there. But on job I have not learnt much form this corporate and multinational company. I was asked to move to Himachal with a team of 3 members to start a new brown field plant near BADDI. We started with civil work to building RCC roof plant, installed machinery and commenced commercial production with in SIX months. I was responsible for Supply chain Management. Scouting for vendors, evaluating them and developing them was a very good experience. By Feb 2009 in our plant cost of production was competitive than the PARENT Plant. Lot of effort was gone in to achieve this. Very good experience and Learnt a lot

Dislikes

Corporate culture is different from a Family owned company where you are paid less but you have the job satisfaction. Godrej Corporate culture is good and it is a people oriented etc. In a corporate number of layers are more hence end of the day you may not have the job satisfaction.
