Salary, hike and bonus were good. Flexible working time. Little exposure to the warehouse operations. No layoff.

No work from home option. More SOPs. No proper data storage of projects. Attrition rate is high. From the view of design and manufacturing, very few learning opportunities are available. Replacement of leaving employees takes more time. Work pressure is high.

The office culture is overall good. You can learn more and more day by day with a good work life balance.

...a higher position which could be achieved outside with that level of experience. Salary structure is okay with very less benefit for employees or with no other benefits.

Even if you are nincompoop the company will retain you. If you end up spending years hitting flies, surely you will reach the general manager position one day. In short there is stability and even non-performers get to climb the ladder if they stay for long. Company is extra sensitive to the environment so you will see dogs roaming around in campus and maybe later also rest on your office chair during the after hours. If you have good people around you the culture is the best, if you end up with toxic team mates be rest assured you'll have to fend for yourself as HR will be the last to come and rescue you from the bullying The company lacks a growth mindset and due to its conservative approaches if you align yourself by offering conservative penny wise solutions, you are here to stay for the long run

...focus on performance and importance is still given to other irrelevant things. All deductions if any are done on your gross salary and all rebates are given on the base pay. Like if your leaves are about to lapse you are reimbursed on the base pay and in case you are one of the lucky few who exceed their leaves, the deduction is on gross salary. The base pay is kept fixed at 25% so all benefits such as gratuity, PF are calculated on this paltry sum. So you can imagine what you'll generate after years of service to this company. Close to 35-40k is deducted from your salary annually for your health insurance, which in turn makes you eligible for a double bed room only with poorest of benefits. Whats worse it is compulsory. There are no processes set, its still a people centric company, if someone leaves (due to lower than industry pay) it takes months to fill the vacancy with the new joinee being pushed completely into the dark and expected to set her/his own new processes. So there is often a vacuum with other team members filling in for a long period of time till a new hire comes. (If things are working out the HR at times also forgets there is a vacancy) Even for a general manager the daily travel reimbursement limit is so low that he/she still has to think twice before staying in a 5 star hotel, the company has no tie-ups with hotel chains plus travel limit is so low that you have to scout for pocket-friendly-not-so-good stay options. There is lack of transparency with incentives being given almost 8-9 months after the financial year is over, if you leave before rhe delayed appraisal you are not eligible for what is owed to you even if you have worked for the whole year and performed well, all your incentives are held back if you leave before the delayed appraisal. Though even appraisals on an average are 7-8% the only other way the HR tries to retain is by offering a higher designation which is only notional with a meagre raise. Sycophancy still exists and will help you grow here.
