Being a site management organization (SMO) it provides you with excellent exposure to various therapeutic areas and trials (Phase II to Phase IV & BA-BE). Candidates willing to learn can progress a great deal in terms of knowledge and skill enhancement. Being in a dynamic situation it also provides opportunities to develop problem solving skills and people management skills. Myself started as a site coordinator in Jan 2010 and left organization in Aug 2016 as Project Manager. Skills and knowledge earned here is still helping in my career. Even though large part of those skills and knowledge was gained by my own efforts without proper mentoring. Dislikes

Compensation was poor; much lower then industry standards at higher levels. Though as a fresher it may be decent. Growth was stable but after a particular point there nothing new to learn or gain in terms of knowledge, skill development or hierarchy. Company doesn't follow any written policies and there is no HR department in the company. Therefore, most of the time employees have no where to go in case of any issues. In short it is a one man show with higher management taking unilateral decisions in policy framing which is highly in favor of company and nothing for employees (e.g., all employees have to sign a 2 year bond.) The biggest negative being there is no HR policy followed as a standard. There are no appraisals (once in 2-3 years that too after applying pressure on higher management.) Also there are issues once you leave the organization; FnF is not done in timely manner, lot of money is deducted without any proper reasons and also many employees don't receive reliving/ experience letter thereby putting there further career path into jeopardy.
