I started my career with the Gulf catering company later on GCC services Iraq in 2005 where i had a opportunity to develop my skills and knowledge while closely working with top management and i grew my career worked until Feb-2022 it was a great experience overall my working career in GCC Generally , i like working at GCC services based on factor below 1-Challenging work, 2-colleagues and Team 3- career growth opportunity 4 work life balance 5 work place environment 6 job security

1-salary and benefits (should be given as per employee's performance seniorty) 2-promotion and appraisal (very rare)

Only I like about this Co. Time to time salary they are sending to bank.

Dislikes

The management staff of this Co. Is really worse. They never support to staff. What they promises they never fulfill. More then 10 years staffs are working without any increasement any promotion. HR DEPT. never call to locations to ask how the staffs are Woking and how is the condition. Time to time they are not sending vacation. It's always delay because of shortage of staff. And the basic salary in Iraq is very low. They are providing 350$ only. No overtime. As per contract they supposed to give medical insurance but they never give and type of insurance card. If someone sick they are taking to govt. Hospital for checkup. I never recommend to work with gcc.

Well GCC is a good company in tames of travel meeting different teammate from all sets of life. All in all is a good company 😄

How the salary skim is done ie worker On the same team doing same work and. On the same level paid differently

The positive side is work flexibility and work life balance. But no incriment, no job security. You will get termination letter anytime after joining with silly reasons.

Dislikes

NO JOB SECURITY. an entire department was dismissed in January 2024 to transfer the department to another country in the personal interest of a manager. Almost 16 people were terminated in the year 2023-24. Many were new joiners. NO INCREMENT I never got any incriment from company from my joining date in 2016 RACISM ceertain nationalities are treated well and certain others are not even considered.

From my point of view, I do appreciate the good team work behaviour and support as per staffs development.

Dislikes

Though we are all human; mistakes and arguments can happen at times. Nevertheless, there are always solutions to every differences or difficulties faced in and around work place.
