Gates India is having 4 plant in India and I was in Chakan (Pune) plant. A lot of pressure is there , people are not ready to accept new changes neither they are eager to implement new changes nor support some one who want to bring new changes in the favour of organisation.

Its a us mnc company making hose for hydraulic pressure. Good technique no work load .good learning stage for freshar candidates.

Dislikes

Managemet is no so good. Growth is slow. Incentive and pay scale is not good.

The company is open to innovation and readily adopts latest technology. I love the fact that I am a part of a team that markets reliable, high-quality products and has a global client base. Another plus point is that my colleagues come from various cultural backgrounds, and we work happily in collaboration.

Dislikes

Compensation is decent, but growth is slow. The work pressure is very high. Sometimes, I have to work 12-14hours straight in a day.

Compensation is good. Product quality is good leaving few experimental products.

Confidence is good, over confidence is bad and Arrogance is worst. Gates is moving with a lot of arrogance and working in an imaginary world where it thinks, herself a queen. Reality is different. I see this as first company where distributor os boss and the company is servant. Gates representatives are not even asked to have a seat by their distributors, leave alone answering the greetings. Clearly, the distributor behaviour is typically like a businessman who keeps corrupt govt. officials as pets. However, distributors are given updated price lists while orders are registered in back date with older prices and special discount. False projections are shown by the top managment for a particular product to the overseas managment and discount is approved for a particular distributor. And then that distributor becomes an national distributor to that product. Everybody will buy that product from that distributor and the Indian Managment gets a share. Same way other products are allotted to others. Technical training and knowledge is zero. Amazing company with zero ethics.

Nothing management thinks if you throw package(money) anybody will come and work .Here previous company Msrs are national magers and general managers ,they are teaching us how to do.There is not job security hire and fire .with in six months.they are playing with employees life if you ask anybody in market about gates they will tell you better than me .
