I have been working with Gammon for 4 years from 2011 to 2015.C I think this company has been taken over by a company. Once this company was a well-known company in india for its remarkable projects. After the downfall the company suffered heavy losses in almost all projects. I had a pretty good time in company.

This is a very good place to learn and lead a team, there is many chance to work every where independently. Junior -senior bonding / all are friendly. I worked at kolkata metro project. Work culture good.

This company is good for New commer/freshers because there are lots of thing that can people learn lots of technics to do work and here I am free to enhance our engineering skill because all the job responsibility on me and get proper guides by our seniors and site in charges. ... introduced with new place.frequent moving job location .career growth is good.salary may be good with other job.

Dislikes

Transmission line is very tough life..very bad politics.. frequent changes with your job location. ..no family life in this field..no limit of working. .always argument with Labour and contractors.no respect in this field.. So I have changed my field and came in educational field...

...as lost its credibility among market and staff . Financial position is very bad. Even not able to clear staff salary for 6 or 7 months . May be more in some times. Not cleeared dues of stff who left job even three years back.
