I have been working with Gammon for 4 years from 2011 to 2015.C I think this company has been taken over by a company. Once this company was a well-known company in india for its remarkable projects. After the downfall the company suffered heavy losses in almost all projects. I had a pretty good time in company.

Delay in salary. No benefits No promotion No increment

This is a very good place to learn and lead a team, there is many chance to work every where independently. Junior -senior bonding / all are friendly. I worked at kolkata metro project. Work culture good.

Dislikes

There is no job guarantee, salary not confirm when will credit your account. 4,6 months delay in salary. Lots of pressure. Senior management direct contact to labour, supervisor, no value to engineer.

Gammon india it's absolutely careless scam management even they don't have proper equipments and basics technique of makings roads,bridges everything there own God hands , lots of corruption for example purnea road project under yugal kishore 80% were his relatives on posts now it's under sub contractor but salary of workers pending there 8 months on some sites . There you will get just stress and stress , none any benefits or growth for any workers. It is not the brand company anymore like we used to hear.

There are tons of things 1. Salary pending 8 months 2. Upper management cares zero about workers 3. Scams on sites for example purnea road project under yugal koshore 70% workers were his relatives chain systems 4. No fix timing of work not any over time 5. Not any kind of growth 6. You have to pay for mess food even your salary is pending 8 months 7. Poor material,equipments very poor quality Noone care 8. It's worst than even labour 9. Job security zero they can send you home anytime under the name of site transfer. 10.there is no safety standard on site for workers

I am allowed to work here without any interfere because my seniors are very good & supportive.They provide mask & sanitizer for work during lockdown

There is no increment and salary is not credited on time

This company is good for New commer/freshers because there are lots of thing that can people learn lots of technics to do work and here I am free to enhance our engineering skill because all the job responsibility on me and get proper guides by our seniors and site in charges. And I am also like company re-hireing policies of company...

Dislikes

There we do not get proper training to develops our new skills and technology. And also low salary growth.
