Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

The work was interesting and I got to learn a lot in my short time working there.

Dislikes

They have absolutely zero job security, out of the blue the HR called me one day and said they won't be needing my services anymore, didn't even give a proper reason or an official releasing letter. Also the work-life balance is pretty poor, sometimes I would have to work from 10 am till 10pm too.

Well it is good company for learning and helping others by completing , the tasks from all around the globe for different clients of different cultures for motion designing projects.
