... is heave. Work burden, no Work-Life balance or very less. Extra modern culture. salary bar comparing to other IB schools.

Likes

Management is very polite. You get an practical approach to teach. Good infrastructure and availability of resources makes learning fun for students.

Dislikes

Remuneration is not good seeing to standard of an IB school. Discipline issues in students. Lack of growth opportunities as the scheme of promotion is based on the years you spent and not on merit.

Likes

Good working environment and culture. Teammates are supportive and management is transparent. Practical and day to day life application with theory makes students to grasp easily knowing and understanding of contents.

Dislikes

As most education institutions are facing disciplines issue from students side here also same applies.

Likes

A place where you are encouraged to share your thoughts, where you can experiment and innovate in terms of teaching methodologies. The students love you and that makes you fall in love with the school. I have been working here for almost 3.5 years and not one day have I regretted. Although, salaries are not that great compared to IB schools in metros but good compared to other schools in Surat. This is one place which invests in you as an individual through professional and personal development opportunities.

The best thing about this school was the flexibility of teaching. Since there is no fixed curriculum, we were free to explore a wide range of concepts and topics consistent with the ever changing scenario of global affairs. Moreover, my colleagues came from various cultural backgrounds which helped foster a secular working culture.

Dislikes

While there was an opportunity to grow, the job was extremely demanding thus leaving me with limited time to undertake certain professional development courses. Moreover, internal disagreements between my colleagues would tend to disrupt the professional working atmosphere.
