Salary structure is good in comparison to other government organisations... Posting in Regional and Zonal offices are good providing good work life balance
Worst department of government of India.more work less pay. Peon level salary for a computer graduate employee. Worse working condition and mass corruption in department.
Excellent Teammates ,excellent training facilities, good job security, govt job like career growth, good salary, almost useless appraisal except for negative purpose, extensive travel, dirty politics, lessons learned every day, poor work environment, innovation welcome but failed adventures punished by nonjudicial judges in accordance to their whims and fancies. Zero work life balance with battlefield like working requirement.
The biggest advantage, if that can give satisfaction, is that you work for the food security of the Nation primarily and humanity secondarily whensoever wheresoever required -the most noble work by all accounts. This is also the reason to put more than your 100% into your job and never quit the corporation.
Interpersonnel relationships and personnel entertainment activities need improvement to keep stress levels low. Administration and judiciary system needs overall calibration to make it more realistic and judicious and least fanatic /whimsical.
After retirement, only EPF Pension is there which is quite insufficient when compared to the life the FCI offered to us during the working period. FCI Pension is not yet received
The best thing in working with FCI Is that we get an opportunity to serve the farmers interest .
Secondly , being Category I officer, one get a chance to get posted all part of the country and so , it’s an opportunity for one to learn the different state culture , food habits .
Of late, it have been a very terrible experience when officers have been given pre mature retirement under regulation 22 by FCI Management and the unfortunate thing is it has been done on biased basis and so it’s really unfortunate that lower down officials / officers specially youngsters are feeling insecure about working with FCI .
Hopefully ,with the repatriation of Shri V K Singh, IPS (1996 batch ) to Karnataka Government , at present posted as ED ( P ) in FCI the things will improve as he has spoiled carrier of so many officers due to which their families are on Raod now .
But at least we are hopeful that GOD will teach him and so his family as well .
I fought for CBI Court case by selling out my flat and breaking the saving which I had made in past 23 years of service . I only got issued a direction from High court chandigarh to CBI Court to decide the case in 2 years and deadline date was 06.04.2023 but the same got delayed .
It’s a matter of record that I worked wholeheartedly in the Corporation alongside attending court case but I have been booked by Shri V K SINGH IPS Officers under Regulation 22 because of pendency of this Court case only .Further , Shri V K SINGH ED ( P )also got my representation rejected from C& MD , FCI which is completely unjustified .
YES , while performing CHHATH PAHAPARV, I I will pray to CHHATH MAI for his all damages to health and am sure that CHHATH MAI will punish him severely very soon .
