It don't look like a software company They don't give salary on time, No hikes, In this covid situation They calculate attendance from a software called Centra tracker. Weather you have work or not you have to maintain 8 hours according software. If you want to maintain 8hours every day according to Centra tracker you have work 10hours a day and week offs.if you don't maintain 8hours average in a month you will have loss of pay. 2years commitment is mandatory how experienced you are.they take original educational documents.

- Salary and incentives are above industry standards - Health insurance and standard perks and benefits of any GCC Country - Work-life balance - Weekends are off - Highly generous in giving salary advance for people landing in Muscat for the first time - Financially stable company - Focus X is the best software for companies who need accounting and inventory software - Flight ticket is reimbursed - Yearly flight allowance to and fro from your country of origin to Oman - Car allowance once you purchase your car - PRO (The public relations officer who treats you well) is a beautiful human being - Salary is credited by the end of the month - Some team members are good and treat you well and also help you in settling into the company - You learn the Gift of generosity when you reach Oman - Oman as a country is beautiful

This is my personal experience of working in Focus Softnet for 2.1 months for which I am voicing my feedback. Bad parts - The company does not promise the Hotel stay as they had mentioned. The Hotel stay had changed the day I landed in Muscat - They expect results from day one without any proper software training. - High miscommunication in terms of system requirements. The company believes in BYOD (Bring your own device policy - No travel reimbursement for field sales which is hard to believe as any field sales professional requires a travelling allowance for meeting prospects. - Moreover, partial clarification was given as to whether this was a field sales or inside sales job. - NO HR and recruitment policies - the small size of 22 team members in the last 22 years - CRM needs to be updated - Focus X ERP is expensive compared to the competition. Rates have to be changed as per current trends Worst parts - Certain team members in the company abuse you harshly to the point that they make fun of your financial status and religion. They have no control over their tongue because of which other members are either joining them in the game or if they are not joining, then they are abused. - Because of constant verbal abuse, you suffer from high medical issues because of which you are admitted to emergency units of hospitals for some time and have to take medications - You try to heal yourself and take your meds but then these negative elements do not let you become healthy rather they make you sick. - The negative elements treat you like the beggar who thinks we are begging money from them for working (Kindly understand that a beggar doesn't work, he gets free money) - Unresponsive management who do not consider employees' concerns - Making me work in the harsh extreme heat in Oman has led to the loss of weight, but more loss of my mental health due to which I am suffering from anxiety and heartburn To date because of the treatment your company has given me in spite of me requesting for traveling allowance. Horrible parts - I had put down my papers and was serving my notice period of 7 days because of the constant verbal abuses and threats that I had faced in the company that deteriorated my health to a massive extent - The management was and still is deaf and dumb to my resignation and has now threatened me with fees for the recruitment cost of hiring me as I had left Oman citing medical reasons for which I had communicated with them over email. - They are aware that no company asks for recruitment costs from their employee but still, they send emails and threaten employees with Royal Oman police investigation and other threats that are illogical, baseless, and are meant to generate fear amongst people. Joke. - While everybody in the company had their personal vehicle and license to meet prospects, they rarely cared about an expat employee who used to travel in the extreme heat on public transportation and get quotations for them. They anyway have no value for this. Word of Advice to any current and new employees who work for Focus Softnet LLC Oman - Get an HR who can solve your issues of recruitment and hope she makes sure that employees are treated well in the company - Discipline the elements in the company who are dragging your company down - Change your ERP Prices - Give travel reimbursement to employees who sacrifice their blood and sweat to make your company prosperous - Do not threaten anybody with abuses, insults, and fear as nobody in the current world will take your nonsense and work with you. - Expect a response when you treat someone badly - Make sure that you know who you are dealing with before treating them badly In spite of the company's behavior with me, I wish them good luck and hope that they change so that they can work together in collective progress.

HR policies are very much poor. Policies and pay structure are maintained in HO only. All the branches are maintained by EVPs and molded as per their needs. Also, there is a big gap in the communications and knowledge between HO and Branches. If anything needs to communicate you need to knock door-to-door. Good for freshers and mid-levels. Salaries are not as per the market. In the same location and in the same position they will offer different pay structures.
