Flipkart company in 2016 to 2018 the company was really good and working place. Where employees use to get all benefits.

Dislikes

2019 to till now the work life is literally different. The employee benefits were getting cutoff fur to cost cutting and pressurize in Quality team, even with lot effort in Quality u get no appraisal... it all depends on favorism of managers.... flipkart good company to work with but selecting Quality is a wrong choice in flipkart....

Likes

Perks and benefits are very good. Lunch and dinner and breakfast systems are just wonderful. Employee entertainment just like offsite is also nice.

Dislikes

Job security is there but transfer facilities without increasing salary is horrible. Anyone can be transferred anytime. Office culture is good but depends upon your managers only. Some managers are very good but some are very biased and their leadership skills are zero. Transportation facilities have not been provided for south kolkata based location so daily 120 km employees have to travel so work life balance hampered.

favoritism everywhere either promotion or growth. if you are lazy from 1st day and good in making boss happy you will grow fast. but if you are good in work & want to grow fast by your work this company will make you donkey, as you image will be permanently set as workaholic person, your work will not be recognized if you are in ground team below Manager position. working hour not fixed and need to work 15-18 hours daily. during sale forget about family, give divorce to your wife & dedicatedly align yourself to this company only & still no appreciation will be given. you have to satisfy your boss with daily alcohols else you will be transferred after sale of flipkart. you need to be like rajnikant who can do everything in a single day without proper support & this practice need to be carry through out the year, else better search job outside.

Company is innovative & adopts latest technologies. I love that to be a part of this company. It was a great experience to be a part of that team. The most important & the plus point is that my colleagues come from various cultural backgrounds & we work happily in collaboration. I also like the employee rehire policy here.

Dislikes

Compensation is good but I didn't get my weekly offs during my working period. The work pressure is very high. I have to work 16-18 hours straight in a day. Also there is no on-job training for freshers, hence senior folks like me have to guide them step-by-step, which is a pain sometimes.
