It has been a year, and I have not received any salary increase, . I've noticed that many employees in my company, some of whom have been here for over six years, remain in the same roles. I'm based in Assam, where job opportunities are limited, and the 5% annual salary increment barely keeps up with inflation in India. It seems that the company prioritizes cost-saving and productivity over recognizing knowledge and skills. It's quite frustrating, to be honest. 😂

Dislikes

strongly dislike the company. Senior employees keep emphasizing the need for daily training and strict adherence to standard operating procedures, warning us that it might impact our performance evaluations. Management, particularly project managers. I have no intention of ever working for this company again, and I would not recommend it to anyone.

When I joined flipkart in 2013 then it was good company to work as it has back up of investors and lot of money was pumped for employees . Good incentives ,Great work culture and Big BBD celebrations .

Dislikes

As flipkart gained Customer now it has to make profit also so lots of cost cutting started happening after 2020 still i am thankful as they didnt do any salary cuts but gradually incentives and perks started disppaering even grand BBD celebrations have shrinked a lot . Unoffical layoff started happening .Its bad time to work in flipkart. Company has come to saturation point where its main aim to max profit not customer first or employee second anymore.

Dislikes

...work extra hours without paid discrimination is at its peak here in Flipkart. As for growth there are many employees who working more than 7 years and still not get promoted salary is pretty low as standard of IT industry.

There is nothing to like about, only good thing is all the project uses latest tech stack, you will not be working on any legacy apps

Dislikes

It's worst for contractual employees, no perks, workload is same as FTE with nearly half salary of the average salary of SDE

I feel very fortunate that I am working in Flipkart. Flipkart supported us throughout the pandemic and given us security to support in future also.

Just I feel .. people salary should be based on their job and not on their designation
