The federal government owned institution is a specialist hospital whereby there is mutual and interdisciplinary cooperation. Each department has its director supervising his own domain with a well laid down hierarchy. Healthcare services is generally affordable and accessible at the primary, secondary and tertiary level.

...ttle or lower job satisfaction because employees are not adequately catered for. There is poor remuneration and welfare package for employees. Lack of basic amenities such as water and electricity is also of prime importance. There is lack of basic equipment to work with and this brings about low human development as far as specialization is concerned.

It is a tertiary health institution established by federal government of Nigeria. I like working at Federal medical centre because of training, job security, work progression and professionalism. Also team building, team work and conducive work environment.

Overwhelmed by patient overload and overstressing of manpower, equipment and shortage power supply. No replacement of broken equipment.

There are only supporting me by creating work schedules that allows me to work 8 hours once in 5 working days, even though that there is apparently no PPE for staff and unethical practises like not organising how to handle Covid 19 patient samples . Moreso, they have paid the so much touted Covid 19 hazard allowance till this moment.

Dislikes

I dislike the fact that the management does not provide condusive work space, and poor equipment to work. The issue of poor remuneration and withholding of arrested plus allowances is the worst.
